Titans and Miami Game in Florida Will Be Played Sunday at Scheduled

Hurricane Matthew

A Dolphins spokesman confirmed the Dolphins-Titans game will be played as scheduled at 1 p.m. Sunday at Hard Rock Stadium, Chris Perkins of the South Florida Sun-Sentinel reports.

The threat of Hurricane Matthew caused concern earlier in the week, and the NFL explored contingency plans, but the storm passed without much major damage to South Florida, so the game will be played without disruption.

The Dolphins closed their team facility Thursday, meaning no coaches, players or staff were on the grounds. They return to practice today, having moved back the session a few hours to 3 p.m.
