Five-time Pro Bowl wide receiver Andre Johnson visited the Titans on Tuesday, a team source told Jason Wolf of the Tennessean.
The sides have not advanced to discussing a possible contract.
Johnson, 35, who spent his first 12 NFL seasons with the Texans, managed just 41 catches for 503 yards and four touchdowns last season with the Colts. But he’d provide a veteran presence and dependable target for second-year quarterback Marcus Mariota.
The Titans’ wide receiving corps was among the least productive in the league last season. Tennessee signed former Dolphins receiver Rishard Matthews this offseason and used a fifth-round draft pick on former University of Massachusetts receiver Tajae Sharpe, who was running with the first team by the end of offseason workouts.
