Titans Come To Terms With Ray Horton To Coach Defense

Ray Horton

The Titans have a new defensive coordinator, as the team has reached a deal with former Browns defensive coordinator Ray Horton to join Ken Whisenhunt‘s staff.

Horton spent one year with the Browns, but was free to look for another job after the team fired Rob Chudzinski after one season.

The 53-year-old will be reunited with Titans new head coach Whisenhunt, who was his boss in Arizona in 2011 and 2012.

Horton was a hot coordinator after the 2012 season, and interviewed for some head coaching jobs prior to taking the Browns defensive coordinator position.
