Titans Have “Real” Interest In Chargers OC Whisenhut

The Titans’ interest in Chargers offensive coordinator Ken Whisenhut is reportedly “real” and “viable” according to Adam Schefter of ESPN.com.

Whisenhut has an impressive resume, including a Super Bowl appearance as the head coach of the Arizona Cardinals and the resurrection of the careers of quarterbacks Kurt Warner and Phillip Rivers.

What is questionable is whether Whisenhut’s interest in the Titans is also “real” and “viable” or a ploy to speed up the hiring process in Detroit.

Whisenhut has long been considered the favorite for the Lions’ vacant head coaching job and it would seem to be a far more desirable position in light of the presence of franchise QB Matthew Stafford (whom he can also hopefully resurrect), Megatron, an awesome defensive line, and the No.10 pick in this year’s draft.
