It’s looking more and more like the Titans will have their starting QB back for Sunday’s game vs the Dolphins.
Coach Mike Munchak is stating that second-year QB Jake Locker will start against the Dolphins this Sunday should he not have any setbacks this week in practice.
Locker worked with the starters on Wednesday, and Munchak says the Titans will see how he responds to practicing with the first-team offense. Matt Hasselbeck also took snaps during Wednesday’s practice.
Locker has missed five straight games since injuring his left, non-throwing shoulder Sept. 30 against Houston. He had been practicing with the scout team. Munchak says Locker will have to be honest with how he feels now that doctors have said the quarterback’s shoulder has healed as much as it can.
Locker will have to shake off any rust if he plays; Munchak says the Titans (3-6) need to beat Miami (4-4).
