The recovery for wide out Kenny Britt took another positive step on Tuesday, as the Titans took him off the PUP list, meaning he could be ready for opening day, that is if he’s not suspended.
Britt, who is rehabbing from knee surgery, is expected to be sat down by NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell, after a recent arrest for suspicion of DUI.
“As far as how the league handles him that is something, obviously, we will probably hear real soon, those are things they tell you about this time of year,” Titans head coach Mike Munchak said.
The wide out was placed on PUP at the beginning of training camp after surgeries on his left and right knees. But he passed a physical on Tuesday, and was added to the team’s active roster.
He will not play in the preseason finale vs Seattle on Thursday.
Doesn’t matter if he gets suspended or not. It will just be another excuse for perennial underachievement by the Oilers/Titans if he does.
8-8 here they come!
