Chris Johnson has amassed 5,645 rushing yards and 38 touchdowns since entering the league in 2008, the most of any running back in the league. After a disappointing 2011 season, Johnson is looking to bounce back. He gained eight pounds of muscle to make him sturdier in the trenches, and he spent the off-season working with his coaches and teammates in the off-season program.
“Since I got here, a lot of seasons, everybody has been keying on me,” Johnson told Jim Wyatt of the Tennessean. “So, having all the extra additions, I feel good that everybody is not going to be able to key on me. I feel like a lot of teams won’t be able to focus on me like they have in years past.” “I think Chris (Johnson) has been great,” coach Mike Munchak said. “He has done everything we asked him to do, and he’s looked good.”
