Titans Won’t Use NFL’s New Relaxed Blackout Policy

Count the Titans as another NFL team that will not use the NFL’s new relaxed blackout rules.

The Tennessean reports the team will NOT take advantage of the new NFL policy.

With 134 consecutive sellouts since moving into LP Field in 1999, Titans EVP of Administration and Facilities Don MacLachlan just hopes to keep a good thing going this season. “We have been fortunate in that we’ve been able to sell out 100 percent for 13 years and based on the feedback that we’ve received this year, we’ll be fortunate enough to get there again,’’ MacLachlan said. “It’s going to take some work, but we have been more aggressive this year than we have in the past. We are very appreciative of our loyal fan base.”
