Jared Cook is entering the fourth and final year of his rookie contract with the Titans.
Thus far, Cook and his agent have yet to hear from the Titans front office regarding and extension. In lieu of that, the franchise tag, of course, remains an option for Tennessee to exercise on Cook next March, Terry McCormick of Titaninsider reports.
“I would like to stay here. I like Tennessee a lot, but you just kind of block it out and take care of your job. As long as you take care of your job, you’ll be all right,” Cook said. “I’m still waiting (to hear), but hopefully soon.”
“You really can’t know what they’re thinking, so you’ve just got to kind of do your thing and go play football,” Cook said.
