The Titans will sit with Pats free agent center Dan Koppen at some point this week.
The Titans are scheduled to host Patriots center Dan Koppen on a free agency visit later this week, possibly as early as Wednesday. Koppen, a nine-year pro, finished last season on Injured Reserve after suffering a broken ankle in the season opener. Koppen was drafted in the fifth round of the 2003 draft out of BostonCollege. He was named to the Pro Bowl in 2007. Last month, the Titans entertained centers Scott Wells, Chris Myers and Jeff Saturday in free agency, but all three players signed elsewhere.
It’ll be interesting to see how much Koppen has left. It’s tough being an offensive lineman and a bad ankle could really hurt his mobility.
