Count the Titans as one of the teams that have an interest in looking to acquire veteran cornerback Asante Samuel, if the Eagles do wind up dealing him.
According to TitanInsider.com, the Titans have interest in Samuel, who has 45 interceptions in his nine-year NFL career.
The big question will be what would Tennessee have to get up to get a CB the caliber of Samuel, who is now 31-years old.
The Titans do need help with the corner spot, as they lost Cortland Finnegan, but could look to the draft to grab someone, even if it’s in the later rounds.
Samuel is due quite a bit of cash with his current deal, as he has a salary that will pay him $9.9 million in base pay for 2012 and $11.4 million for 2013.
