Posted in Titans general manager Ruston Webster released a statement following their workout today with free agent QB Peyton Manning. The statement was made on their official Twitter page.
“This morning we traveled to Knoxville and had a workout with Peyton,” said Webster. “I thought he looked comfortable throwing the ball and we had a good visit. This is another important step in the process.”
At the urging of owner Bud Adams, the Titans have become one of three finalists for Manning, who has conducted similar workouts with the San Francisco 49ers and Denver Broncos this week. A decision on his next team is expected next week.
