The Tennessee Titans are trying to make a huge free agent splash with trying to get Peyton Manning to come to town. In the meantime though, they made a move today that will shore up their O-line.
NFL Networks Jason La Canfora reports that the Titans have come to terms with free agent guard Steve Hutchinson on three-year deal.
Hutchinson was released by Minnesota on Saturday, and also in the free agent process spoke to the Seahawks, his former team about coming to Seattle.
Reports were that Seahawks owner Paul Allen was in favor of trying to get Hutchinson back, but now he’ll join Mike Munchak and the Titans.
The 34-year old was due a $6.95 million salary this year, but terms of his three-year deal with the Titans were not disclosed.
The Titans remain very much interested in Manning, who was in town to talk to the front office on Wednesday night.
