The Titans have a new DB coach, as today the team announced the hiring of Brett Maxie, He will take over for Marcus Robertson and Curtis Fuller, who were told they would not be back for the 2012 season.
Maxie is most well known for playing in the NFL, as he played for the Saints, Falcons, Panthers and 49ers, Maxie began his coaching career as a defensive backs coach with Panthers in 1998. Maxie has coached the defensive backs with the 49ers (1999-2003), Falcons (2004-06), Miami Dolphins (2007) and spent the last four seasons with the Cowboys.
Maxie’s contract with the Cowboys was expiring and the team had recently hired Jerome Henderson, who was with the Browns.
