Jerry Gray apparently is moving quickly, and is interviewing with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers for their head coaching vacancy today or tomorrow.
The four-time pro bo
wl cornerback was the Titans defensive coordinator in 2011 and was the defensive coordinator of the Buffalo Bills from 2001 to 2005. As a cornerback in the NFL, Gray spent time with many teams but ultimately ended his career with the Buccaneers in 1993.
The Tampa Bay Buccaneers have not confirmed the report that Gray would be interviewing but he told ESPN that he was flying to Tampa Bay and would be meeting with the Buccaneers within 48 hours.
Raheem Morris was fired from the Buccaneers just one year removed from being named the NFL’s coach of the year. However, the Bucs lost 10 straight after starting the season 4-2 and did not compete in the last five.
