Titans quarterback Matt Hasselbeck did not practice on Wednesday as the team began on-field preparations for Sunday’s game against the Colts.
Hasselbeck suffered a calf injury in the second quarter of last Sunday’s loss to the Saints and played only one more snap. On Monday, Titans Coach Mike Munchak characterized the injury as a “mild strain.”
Backup quarterback Jake Locker was limited in Wednesday’s practice, leaving second-year pro Rusty Smith taking the majority of the reps.
Locker, still sore after taking a big hit against the Saints, is expected to practice on Thursday.
