The Tennessee Titans have started to find their offense in the last few games behind two solid rushing performances from Chris Johnson.
But that won’t be the Titans biggest concern at 1 p.m. today, it will be stopping Drew Brees and one of the best offenses in the league.
Brees hold a 105.4 passer rating on the year and is proving once again to be in the same category as Tom Brady and Aaron Rodgers. He is reading defenses and making plays at the line of scrimmage allowing him to spread the ball around to a multitude of options. The Saints are currently first in total offense and 1st in passing yards per game. You can’t stop the Saints and their high potent offense, you have to keep them off the field with a balanced running attack.
Darren Sproles will be the x-factor in the game, and the Titans will live or die on their ability to contain him.
However, the Saints are on the road for the first time since November 13. The Saints have been at home the past two weeks after a bye started the homestand.
LP Field will be rocking as the Titans are looking to get themselves back into the AFC South race. This would be a statement win and one that could propel the Titans to catch the injured Houston Texans atop the division.
