Chris Johnson has been named the AFC’s Offensive Player of the Week, the team announced on Wednesday.
Johnson ran for a season-high 190 yards in the Titans’ 23-17 win over the Tampa Bay Buccaneers on Sunday. After a slow start to the season, Johnson has topped 100 yards in two of the last three weeks and has 699 yards and two touchdowns on the season.
A three-time Pro Bowler and 2009 Offensive Player of the Year, Johnson has now been named the AFC’s Offensive Player of the Week three times during his career.
