According to ESPN, Matt Hasselbeck will be behind center for the Tennessee Titans as they face the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
Hasselbeck was injured midway through the loss to the Atlanta Falcons on Sunday. Rookie Jake Locker played well in a relief appearance, but Hasselbeck will keep his starting job.
Head Coach Mike Munchak said they have not asked Hasselbeck to throw deep balls yet in practice, but that he looks good and ready to go.
With several more days of rest, it looks like the Titans will be ready to go with Hasselbeck leading the team.
Let’s just wait and see if the offensive line can do enough to keep him healthy, and Chris Johnson running.
