Titans strong safety Chris Hope will be cleared to practice this week, and there’s a chance he could return to action on Sunday against the Panthers. Hope has missed four games since breaking his forearm on Oct. 2 at Cleveland. He had surgery last month.
“We’ll see where he is as far as whether he can help us,” Coach Mike Munchak said. “A lot has to do with how he is doing health-wise. He hasn’t played or practiced, so he is a little ways off before determining how much he can help us. But he is at a position where he could be worked in some plays.” Jordan Babineaux has started in Hope’s place. Babineaux had 10 tackles in the loss to the Bengals. “He has done a great job for us, all the stuff we have asked him to do,” Munchak said. “But like the rest of us, we all have to improve.”
