According to Cortland Finnegan, the coaches and rest of the team knew he was leaving practice due to “personal reasons” and not due to a contract dispute.
However, head coach Mike Munchak sings a different song, and says that he was unaware that Finnegan was leaving practice, someone’s lying.
There stands the argument that there is little reason for Munchak and the rest of the front office to lie about not knowing Finnegan was leaving, which can only lead to Finnegan ultimately being the fibber.
This sounds to me like a high-school part-time worker who ditched out of work early and now is struggling to come up with a reason as to why he left. Is it contract? Is it personal? And if it’s not contract, why could Finnegan not man-up and tell his coaching staff that he needed to leave?
Questions need to be answered in Tennessee, and it’ll all happen on Monday.
