Washington Concerned About Players Safety After Lockout

Titans wide receiver Nate Washington’s view of the NFL lockout concerns players safety, especially with a shortened off-season and potentially playing on short notice when things are settled. “The league is about to send guys out there to play in the most physical professional sport without the proper preparation. Now we’re talking about livelihood and getting guys heads knocked off that aren’t on the same page,” Washington told Darren McFarland of Titaninsider. “We need to be back around the coaches, so we’re in the right spots and so things won’t go in a negative way.” Washington said, “I talk about the lockout with at least three or four guys a day.”
