Locker Already Planning On Workouts with His Teammates

The Tennesseasn reports that first round pick QB Jake Locker is already planning on workouts with the Titans.

Jake Locker isn’t waiting for the NFL lockout to be lifted to get ready for the 2011 season either. The former Washington standout said he’s already been in the playbook he received from the Titans during his visit to Baptist Sports Park, and he’s been working out and throwing to receivers on a regular basis. In the near future, Locker plans to return to Nashville to work out with his new teammates, whether the lockout is lifted by then or not. “This is something I have been thinking about and dreaming about for such a long time, and now to have the opportunity to compete in the NFL and get to play that dream out is something I am really looking forward to,’’ Locker said. “My plan is to stay in shape and keep my arm in shape so when we do finally have team workouts I won’t be coming in out of shape trying to catch up. I want to hit the ground running and be ready to go.”
