The Titans stated today that despite their recent draft selections, they hope to keep linebacker Stephen Tulloch. Under the current CBA, Tulloch is a restricted free agent.
With the status of the league, the Titans worry if the restriction might be remove. Titans GM Mike Reinfeldt said that the club offered a one year tender to keep the linebacker, but no agreement was reached before the lockout. The Titan’s raised eyebrows and possibly planned for the possible departure by drafting two linebackers in the first four rounds of the draft.
