While few teams have a more pressing need at the QB position than the Titans, we’re hearing it is unlikely the club will land Bengals QB Carson Palmer or Eagles QB Kevin Kolb via trade. A more probable scenario is the club re-signing 38-year-old QB Kerry Collins and selecting a signalcaller in the second or third round of the draft.
It’s no secret that the Titans are doing some quarterback shopping prior to the draft. The Titans sent representatives to the pro days for both Blaine Gabbert and Cam Newton, and Titans have also met or worked out a number of the other top quarterback prospects, including Nevada’s Colin Kaepernick, TCU’s Andy Dalton, Washington’s Jake Locker and Arkansas’ Ryan Mallett.

Never forget: You can take the Oilers out of Houston, but you will never take the Oilers out of the Titans.
Enjoy the upcoming 2-14 “rebuilding” year.
