Titans running back Stafon Johnson, who survived a life-threatening crushed larynx during a 2009 weightlifting accident, was having a good rookie training camp last year before breaking a fibula and dislocating an ankle in an exhibition game. Johnson says he has been cleared to begin working out at the Athletes Performance facility in Los Angeles and that he recently was allowed to run for the first time since August.
“I’m just doing whatever God’s put in my way to do,” Johnson told Yahoo! Sports. “Whatever he has for me. I pray that I can be an inspiration to others, to let them know that anything can happen. You’ve just got to keep your mind tuned. I can’t let little things … get in the way of where I want to go.”
