The Tennessean reports that former Titans OC Mike Heimerdinger is looking for work, and he was at the combine over the weekend seeing if anyone had any interest.
Mike Heimerdinger spent his Sunday here at the NFL Combine watching quarterbacks throw inside Lucas Oil Stadium. He didn’t try and hide his real reason for coming to Indianapolis, where he’s been since Friday. “I came up here to look for a job,’’ he said. “I found out there’s not any jobs.’’ Heimerdinger was fired as Titans offensive coordinator earlier this month by new Coach Mike Munchak, and replaced by Chris Palmer. He’s not sure what the future holds. “You don’t know what’s going to happen with the lockout,’’ he said. “So I’ll keep staying in contact and hopefully something will open up. In the meantime, I am gong to go work on my golf game.”
