Britt’s Theft by Deception Case Reduced to a Misdemeanor

Wide out Kenny Britt’s “theft by deception case,” has been reduced from a felony to a misdemeanor, according to the Tennessean.

Britt allegedly failed to live up a commitment to pay $12,500 in bail money for a friend. A complain accused Britt of “creating or reinforcing a false impression by stating in open court that he would pay the bail amount.”

He didn’t appear in court and is apparently out of the country. If convicted, he could face a fine.
