Scaife on Young Not Coming Back in 2011 – “Sometimes Change is Good”

The Tennessean had some interesting quotes from Titans TE Bo Scaife on the announcement earlier today about the team not bringing back QB Vince Young.

Scaife seemed to be on Jeff Fisher’s side when he talked about the rift that occurred when Young cursed at coach Fisher and stormed out of the locker room following a loss to Washington. “You ain’t gonna’ step on the coach’s toes like that in front of people,” Scaife said. “It don’t work like that.”

Scaife says that parting ways with the QB may be best for both sides. “I think it’s probably what’s best for him,” Scaife said. “Some things you might not be able to fix, so you just move on. It’s probably what’s best for him.

“Everyone needs change sometimes,” Scaife said. “Sometimes change is good, so good luck to the Titans and good luck to (Young).”
