Vince Young is still a Tennessee Titan.
Although many news media have already shipped Young out of the music city, the quarterback is still a Titan. Young arrived at the Titans facility Friday and did not speak with reporters.
Young had not been at the facility since he had been placed on I.R. after having an altercation with coach Jeff Fisher.
“It is what it is. I ain’t never had a problem with the whole situation, so I don’t know what the big deal is. It’s what the media is making it,” Griffin said of the incident between Young and Fisher.
Many players downplayed the visit, saying that they have seen Young around the town.
“Where’s Vince? I didn’t know he was here,” Johnson said. “He’s not playing. I see Vince all the time, so it’s nothing different for me. It don’t matter what the setting is. He can’t play on Sunday because he’s on I.R.”
Seems like the players are on Young’s side. The media put Young and Fisher in a tough situation, and have built up the altercation. After making an appearance at the facility, and keeping a solid reputation with his teammates, is it Jeff Fisher who could see the boot? Owner Bud Adams has said that the two must work out their differences and that they will both come back to Tennessee next year. Will Adams be singing the same tune come offseason?
