Titans coach Jeff Fisher told reporters that quarterback Vince Young is no longer welcome at the Titans practices, meetings, or games, after walking out of a heated argument with the coach following the loss to the Washington Redskins.
Young was seen throwing his pads and jersey into the stands after tearing a tendon in his throwing thumb.
Fisher, who held a meeting Monday to discuss the future of Vince Young, did not speak to the quarterback during the game about his health and ability to throw the football.
Young will be allowed to seek treatment for his thumb at the team’s facility, but has been placed on injured reserve and will not return the rest of the season.
Arguments arose in the locker room as Young stated that the problem came from Fisher’s lack of confidence in Young’s ability to play with the injury.
Now, the question is, did Fisher ever has confidence in the two-time pro bowler and former Offensive Rookie of the Year?
