Posted in Free agent linebacker Jamie Winborn has agreed to terms with the Titans, Jim Wyatt of The Tennessean reports. Winborn started three of the Titans first four games this season, totaling 8 tackles before he was released last Saturday so linebacker Gerald McRath could be added to the active roster after serving a four-game suspension.
A second-round pick (47th overall) out of Vanderbilt by the 49ers in 2001, Winborn has totaled 350 tackles, 10 quarterback sacks, and three interceptions in a 102-game career with the 49ers, Jaguars, Broncos, and Texans. The Titans will need to make a corresponding roster move to officially add Winborn.
