Morgan will have to wait until 2011 for his next QB victim.
The team’s 1st pick (16th overall) from Georgia Tech will be out for the 2010 season with a torn ACL.
Despite the season-ending injury Morgan remains in good spirits: “Rollin with the punches, stayin positive,’’ Morgan said Monday on Twitter. “God didn’t bring me all this way for nothin, count your blessings, don’t take anything for granted.’’
Even though the defensive line is deep and playing extremely well, Jeff Fisher says he will be missed: “For him personally it is a hard thing,’’ Coach Jeff Fisher said. “The ACL is a lengthy, grueling process. … He was playing really well for us and for our defensive line he is going to be missed.’’
Morgan had 1.5 sacks on the season for a Titans defense that is tied for the NFL lead in sacks with a total of 16.
