CB Jason McCourty had forearm surgery on Tuesday and leaves the team a bit thin at the CB spot.
Titans cornerback Jason McCourty has undergone forearm surgery and will be sidelined 3-4 weeks. McCourty suffered the injury in the second quarter of Sunday’s 29-10 victory over the New York Giants and had a temporary cast placed on the arm right away. McCourty’s surgery leaves the Titans thin at the cornerback position with only three healthy players there. Ryan Mouton, who was inconsistent during preseason, becomes the top backup, with nickelback Vincent Fuller or safety Michael Griffin the next option should more injuries occur.
