It was a tough day for Titans QB Vince Young, throwing two picks and fumbling in the teams 19-11 loss to the Steelers before he was pulled for Kerry Collins Sunday.
Today, Young issued a formal apology to Titans for his awful play.
“To all my titans fans and VY fans sorry about the game yesterday but I will continue to get better,” Young said on his official Twitter account.
Young was pulled for Collins in the third quarter, and the team almost rallied. Jeff Fisher said though after the game that Young would be back under center when the Titans go on the road to play the Giants.

How many years does it take to learn to read a defense? In the case of Vince Young, it appears to be a lifelong activity. In the 3rd quarter to the Steelers game, the team takes a time out to develop a play and then Vince get’s confused by the defense on the field and ca’t decide what to do.
Enough already!
It’s time to perform and not “learn from my mistakes” for VY. I’d rather see Collins or Smith play rather than an inconsistent VY. Hupefully he’s gone by next year.
