Hall and Tulloch named first time captains

The Titans on Wednesday named a couple of first time captains, FB Ahmad Hall and MLB Stephen Tulloch:

Titans fullback Ahmad Hall and middle linebacker Stephen Tulloch were named team captains for the first time in their respective careers, while the Titans welcomed back two other captains – quarterback Vince Young and special-teams ace Donnie Nickey. “It’s a great honor,” Hall said. “Your fellow teammates vote on it, so you can tell they think highly of you. It shows that they respect what I’ve done to give me that honor to be a captain. I’m speechless.” Hall said he won’t try to act any differently. “I’m going to keep doing what I’ve been doing,” Hall said. “Every day in practice and every time I step out on the field with this uniform, I give 100 percent. I’m just going to continue to do what I’ve done.” Tulloch, entering his fifth season here, led the Titans with 132 tackles last season. He was named captain despite missing all of the Titans’ OTAs. Tulloch said he was pleased his teammates didn’t hold what Tulloch considered a business decision against him. “It is cool,” Tulloch said. “For guys to look at me in that light, it is an amazing feeling. I look at us all as captains, though. I am just going to be myself and keep working hard and hopefully people can follow my lead and we can get better as a team.”
