Posted in The Associated Press has reported that the Titans and Redskins have talked about possibly moving the former All-Pro Titan. The source has reported that the Titans would be open to acquiring the former Titan if the price is right. Currently, the two sides are negotiating and it is likely that the Titans will have to offer several draft picks to the Redskins who have traded away many over the past few seasons.
Hayneworth and new head coach Mike Shanahan have had many problems since Shanahan’s arrival in Washington. Haynesworth was one of the most dominant players in the league during his tenure with the Titans, and would put Haynesworth back in the 4-3 scheme that he has become accustomed to playing.
