Posted in WR Justin Gage said on Thursday that he’s still hopeful he can play Monday against the Cardinals but that right now he can’t catch the ball because of his injured right thumb. Gage said he’s missing practice at a critical time: “This is the time of season all of the timing takes place. You get that 2-3 weeks of camp where you build up for the season. Missing a day seems like missing a weekend, and I’ve missed a few days now.”
