FS Griffin Continues to Work Back From a Torn Labrum

Sporting News says that FS Michael Griffin continues to work his way back from a torn labrum:

Titans FS Michael Griffin had offseason surgery to repair a torn labrum and has been testing the injury during padded practices. Griffin had lapses in concentration and took too many chances on the field in ’09, leading to blown assignments. His shoulder injury limited his effectiveness, too. But Griffin has been committed to improving in ’10, and the coaches anticipate him returning to Pro Bowl form of ’08, when he had seven interceptions.

  1. Oilers Forever says:

I’d just fake an injury and sit out, rather than play for this sorry team.

  2. Michael Griffin’s job as a free safety is very important. His role tends to be to keep some distance from the line of scrimmage, watch the play unfold and follow the ball. The 2007 season is very memorable to all NFL fans not just for Tennessee Titans but will other teams who participate the season.
