Arguably the biggest battle in Titans camp — who will start opposite CB Cortland Finnegan — should have a new participant next week. Free-agent signee Tye Hill, a former first-round pick, has been taken off the PUP list. He ran on the side Saturday, and Jeff Fisher said he’s close to being ready. Finnegan is happy to see Hill added to the mix. “I think it’s beautiful competition,” Finnegan said. “I think it’s making me better and everyone better. It’s pushing our secondary to becoming the stronghold of the defense.” Hill, who came to Tennessee after playing for Atlanta in 2009, looked good in OTAs but hasn’t been able to get off the sidelines so far.

“stronghold of the defense”
The stronghold of the Oilers’ defense is a referee who likes to throw holding flags on every play. Other than that, they are hopeless!
