Cortland Finnegan Limited at Practice Saturday

Cortland Finnegan was on the practice field Saturday, doing some things in a limited role:

Titans cornerback Cortland Finnegan was back on the field Saturday, but he didn’t participate in the entire practice. Finnegan saw action in the team’s seven-on-seven drills before heading to the sidelines about a third of the way through practice. He had missed all of Friday’s practice because of muscle tightness. “Yeah, it’s just a general kind of thing,” Finnegan said of what is slowing him. “I don’t know really what you can say about it. I guess you can also throw old age out there.” Finnegan said the injuries to cornerbacks during camp have forced the healthier ones to take more reps than usual. “I’m just trying to be careful,” Finnegan said. “We’ve got a long weekend. I just want to work some of that soreness out. It’s been a long training camp. We’ve had a shortage of corners, so we’ve had to take a lot of reps. It’s taken a toll on all of us, so it’s just one day to get healthy.”

  1. Oilers Forever says:

Poor Cortland. Shame on the sorry Oilers for not trading him to a real team!
