Posted in Just a day after signing a shiny new deal, Titans first round selection Derrick Morgan will miss time in camp to due an apparent calf injury, according to ProFootballTalk.
“It’s really frustrating,” Morgan said. “I’ve never really had to deal with injuries my whole career. I’ve never missed a game, practice, anything. So this is something new I’ve had to deal with.”
Morgan’s exact time off of the field is unknown, but the Titans are hoping to have the 16th overall selection back by the start of the regular season.
“It’s really frustrating,” Morgan said. “I never thought an NFL team could suck so badly. Why couldn’t I have been drafted by a team with some hope, like Oakland, St. Louis or Detroit?”
