ESPN has reported that former USC running back was not officially eligible to play during the 2005 season. Although Bush has not surrendered the trophy, USC has given back all records of the award. Fellow Trojan O.J. Mayo has been deemed ineligible and all records of both players have been wiped from the USC books.
Former Longhorn and 2005 Heisman Runner-Up Vince Young would seemingly be given the award if Bush is ordered to surrender it, however, Joe Schad of ESPN has reported that Young likely would not be interested in taking the Heisman.
I like Young standing ground on this one, because being awarded the Heisman after taking it away from Bush would be sort of like getting asked to prom by a guy who just got rejected by the cheerleading captain.

I’m sure Young would trade any Heisman Trophy for a chance to be traded to a real team and never have to play for these losers again!
