Rookie DL David Howard Pleads No Contest to Simple Assault

Titans rookie defensive lineman David Howard pleaded no contest to simple assault following a plea bargain that will allow the case to not be on his record as a criminal conviction.

Howard has to remain out of trouble for the charge to be expunged. He allegedly punched and kicked a customer at a bar where he was working as a bouncer. Howard is a seventh-round draft pick who starred in the Ivy League.

He was sentenced to one year of probation and court costs.
