The Titans may have some more front office help, as Ruston Webster is close to joining the teams admin staff:
Ruston Webster was a runner-up for the general manager job in Tennessee in 2007 and now he could be joining the Titans in a supporting role to Mike Reinfeldt.
Webster is on the “verge” of being hired by the Titans, according to Jim Wyatt of the Tennesseean. He served as the interim general manager in Seattle after Tim Ruskell departed but after Webster lost out to John Schneider for the GM job there, it became clear he might be headed elsewhere. Webster was the vice president of player personnel for the Seahawks and previously spent 18 years in Tampa Bay.
Tennessee has stocked its front office with people from Seattle. That is where Reinfeldt came from and the Titans director of pro scouting Lake Dawson also worked previously for the Seahawks
