16 Games in 16 Days : Week Two : Pittsburgh

The Good : The Steelers have become the media’s best friend over the past two months. With Roethlisberger suspended for the first six games, the Steelers will be relying on either Charlie Batch, Dennis Dixon, or Byron Leftwich. Also, after trading Santonio Holmes to the Jets, the Steelers are lacking playmakers on the offensive side.

The Bad : The Steelers started the rough season for the Titans by losing 13-10 in Overtime. The Steelers have always had a solid defense and will make it tough for Chris Johnson to have a consistent game on the ground.

Prediction : With questions at the quarterback position, the Titans will take their second win of the season against the Steelers. 14-10

Titans : 2-0

  1. Chris says:

Willie parker is gone and limas sweed is probably not gonna be there, either. Defense is always ready to do some damage but it wont be enough compared to hopefully much improved d to start the season off with. Don’t see it being enough on their offense.

    • The loss of Willie Parker will impact the Steelers more than they know, and the strong front 7 of the Titans should handle the run attack of Rashard Mendenhall. Also, on a side note, the blitzing 3-4 defense of the Steelers tends to struggle against mobile quarterbacks.
