Some Roster Changes Coming for the Titans?
Reports say that the Titans will look to make some roster changes after their awful defeat to the Pats:
Less than 24 hours after the Titans suffered the worst loss in franchise history, Coach Jeff Fisher said he would consider “minor roster changes” during the two weeks leading up to a Nov. 1 rematch with Jacksonville. As for a potential change at quarterback, Fisher said: “I’m not creating competition during the bye week to decide which quarterback I’m going to start against Jacksonville. As far as the week’s concerned, this bye week, we’ve always gotten reps to both the starter and the backups. Kerry will get reps and Vince will get reps. As far as my decision, that’s a competitive issue. I’m not going to go into it right now.” As for which starters are in danger of losing their spot in the lineup, Fisher declined to discuss that. He also said he has not had conversations with players individually. “Everybody understands that when you’re in a situation like we’re in, not that you’re expendable, but there is always the potential for change,” he said.

Today I have stood, where once Peyton Manning stood, and took an oath to fans of good football. It is very appropriate then that from this Cradle of the Vols, this very Heart of the Legend of General Neyland, that today we sound the drum for victory as have our generations of forebears before us done, time and time again through history. Let us rise to the call of football-loving blood that is in us and send our answer to the disgraceful team that claims to represent us. In the name of the greatest fans that have ever trod this earth, I draw the line in the dust and toss the gauntlet before the feet of losers . . . and I say . . . OILERS today . . . OILERS tomorrow . . . OILERS forever.
GO BACK TO HOUSTON, YOU LOSERS!
