Titans Whitewashed in New England 59-0 by Patriots

Where do they go from here?
Last week it appeared the Titans had hit rock bottom in their rather ugly setback to the Colts at home. Sunday in Foxborough, they never stood a chance, and made last weeks loss look like amazing progress. The final against the Patriots – 59-0. And it wasn’t even that close.
Tom Brady threw six touchdown passes—five in one quarter, an NFL mark, as the Pats ran away in the snow, leaving the Titans with way more answers than when they got off the bus earlier in the day. “I don’t think anybody in this league is 59 points better than us,” tight end Bo Scaife said. “This is the worst it gets.”
The Titans are now 0-6, and have lost their last three by 20, 22 and 59 points after posting the NFL’s best record, 13-3, last year. They took their worst loss since they began play in 1960 as the Houston Oilers, eclipsing the 61-7 setback to Cincinnati in 1989.
“I’m disappointed and embarrassed,” Jeff Fisher said. “Fortunately for me, career-wise, I have never been through anything like this before and, unfortunately, it happened tonight. I can assure you one thing, it’s not going to happen again.”
The team couldn’t stop anyone, and they couldn’t do anything on offense. They are lost when it comes to throwing the ball, as Kerry Collins was pulled after going 2 of 12 passes for minus-7 yards. Vince Young came in and threw an interception, one of five Tennessee turnovers, on his first play. His only other pass was an incompletion.
About the only bright spot – running back Chris Johnson, who had 128 yards on 17 carries, including a 48-yard gain that of course led to nothing. The team will have time to think about this almost video game like beating, as they will have the bye.
“I’ve been playing sports since I was 8,” linebacker Keith Bulluck said, “and never have I experienced something like that.”

Since LenDale White stomped on the Terrible Towel, the Titans have not won a single game. The Towel was disrespected and now the Titans are cursed. All White and the team has to do is apologize for this and winning ways will return.

Have to admit it wasnt pretty at Foxboro, but truly believe Coach Fisher will get his team back on track. The thing that i noticed more than lack of defense was the lackadasical attitude of the titans and also seemed like the running backs wasnt running hard when they came to the line ,wanted to sidestep to avoid being hit maybe.amway LONG LIVE THE TITANS

They’ve been gone from Houston for 10 years, but they’re still the same old Oilers. Go 13-3 one year, best team in the NFL in the regular season, then choke in the playoffs. Next year, worst team in the league, with a brain-dead coach playing a washed up quarterback. You got that picture of Fisher wearing the Houston Oilers hat on there, you might as well just change the team’s name back to Oilers. You can take the Oilers out of Houston, but you’ll never take the Oilers out of the Titans!
Oilers Forever!
