Titans Travel to New England Looking for First Win
This week the Tennessee Titans (0-5) play their fourth road game in the season’s first six weeks, traveling to New England to play the Patriots (3-2) in an American Football League Legacy Game. Kickoff at Gillette Stadium (capacity 68,756) is scheduled for 3:15 CDT on Sunday, Oct. 18. The Titans and Patriots were two of the eight charter members of the AFL in 1960.
To celebrate the 50th season since the league was formed, select Legacy Games in 2009 will feature teams wearing throwback uniforms. This Sunday’s game is one of four contests during the preseason and regular season the Titans will wear a version of their 1960 AFL Championship team uniforms. The Patriots will appear in replicas of their 1963 uniforms.
The game will be televised regionally on CBS, including Nashville affiliate WTVF NewsChannel 5. Jim Nantz will handle play-by-play duties, while Phil Simms will provide color commentary. The Titans Radio Network, including Nashville flagship 103.3-WKDF, will broadcast the game across the Mid-South with the “Voice of the Titans” Mike Keith, color commentator Frank Wycheck, sideline reporter Cody Allison and gameday host Larry Stone.

This team is beyond awful. No one plays with any pride or heart. I have never seen a team so bad. Receivers can’t catch, absolutely no defensive secondary. Nothing is good, the best move would be to fire all the players and hire new players next season. None of these players should ever again play pro football!!!
Let them go and give someone else a chance who is willing to try. This group is nothing but a bunch of partying prema donas!!!! NO one should go watch this group play for the rest of the season. A total waste of time.

I played football from the time I was6, till I graduated high school. I always gave a hundred percent. Tennesse is the volunteer state, and that carries a lot of pride and weight for most Tennesseans. These Titans are a huge discrace to the state of Tennesse and the NFL. I am truly ashamed of the lack of heart and effort of this so called team. I’ve never seen a lack of pride and dignety like this team is displaying. I love this state and team dearly. Its just a shame to have all the talent in the world and be as lazy and arrogant as this team.I’m truly embarrased. Hope someone can turn this team into the organization iy deserves to be!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Call them a disgrace all you want to. We got rid of them in Houston and you guys wanted them so badly, and now they’re all yours.
Just remember something and don’t ever forget it: You can take the Oilers out of Houston, you can move them to another state and give them a new name. But you will never, ever take the Oilers out of the Titans. They will forever either break your heart or embarrass you.
Don’t worry. You got the Rams coming to town on Dec. 13. Maybe you can beat them. Maybe.
