The Titans want to add another wide out, and while they have said for sometime that Marvin Harrison is not in their plans, one player that may be is former Jaguar WR Matt Jones. Adam Schefter of ESPN is reporting that Jones will be working out for the Titans on Thursday.

“This is moving quickly,” agent Alan Herman said Wednesday. “We’re ready to go and get a deal done, and we’re optimistic we will. Matt is in outstanding shape, he’s ready to go, and we think Tennessee would be a great fit.”

The Titans are not the only team interested in Jones, as Chicago and Dallas are two other teams that seem to want to at least play around with the notion of talking to Jones. He was a first-round pick of the Jags in 2005, but never lived up to the hype.

Jones, caught 65 passes for 761 yards with the Jaguars last season. In four NFL seasons he has 166 catches for 2,153 yards and 15 touchdowns.
